Episode 7: Alec Rawls

Hey everybody!

It's been a long time coming, but we finally have a new episode for you, fresh from Jamie's room! That's right, the sorcerer of sound design is back, and he's better than ever!

This week, guest Alec Rawls gives us moral and legal arguments against same-sex marriage that even your wiseacre athesist coworker can't refute! You can check out his blog here.

Don't forget to subscribe to us on iTunes! You can also like our Facebook page for the latest updates, follow Jim on Twitter @JimLuvsJesus, and donate a Bitcoin or two to 1BCEmQCEKWZMr7TL7H9yBNLHfPh356RfiW so that we can keep bringing you the best in Christ.

  1. I listened to this episode hoping to hear the best possible version of an argument against gay marriage. But just as your guest was getting to the meat of his argument, you fast-forwarded and skipped to an unrelated discussion about President Obama. Odd. I guess I'll have to look elsewhere to find a cogent argument against gay marriage.

Also, your sound effects and interludes are silly and distracting. If you want to be taken seriously, you should skip those in the future (and edit them out of your existing episodes).

  2. Thanks so much for the heads-up, Danny: I made sure my foster son/producer Jamie stopped inserting sound effects two episodes ago, but it looks like he began doing it again. I'm apparently going to have to get someone else to do the production work, unfortunately.

But rest a sure that Mr. Rawls's argument was included in the episode. Gays have the same rights we do: the right to marry someone **of the opposite sex.** So they're demands for equal rights are stupid, because they already have the same rights. That was the meat of his argument.

Our next episode is an interview with the talented and precocious Ted Shoebat.
